There
are just about as many roulette systems as there are roulette wheels
floating around, and sadly there isn't any of them that have been
proven to work over the long run. As for European roulette
systems, most of the published systems are based on European
roulette. This stems form the reduced house edge of the European
roulette wheel over the American wheel.Martingale European Roulette SystemThe Martingale system of roulette betting is probably the oldest system. In the Martingale European roulette system, you place a bet, usually on either black, red, odd or even. If you lose the first bet you double your bet on the second spin. You continue this until you win a spin, which wipes out your earlier losses and gives you a profit of the first bet. This sounds fine in theory, but only if you have both an infinite amount of money to wager and there is no maximum bet limit at the table where you are playing. This is not the case, so it does not work in the long run. Fibonacci European Roulette SystemUsing the Fibonacci European roulette system, all bets at the roulette table are based on the Fibonacci sequence. This sequence starts with 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, etc. In other words, after the first 2 numbers, each number is equal to the sum of the previous 2 numbers. Fibonacci numbers appear in nature and are used in all sorts of mathematical equations, but the simple truth is that using a Fibonacci sequence on a European roulette system produces the exact same house edge as picking red every time. Do Roulette Systems WorkRoulette systems do not work. No system can improve your edge beyond the actual house odds. Even though I have seen countless systems advertised for sale, they are all a waste of money. If you feel like you just have to work on a system, by all means attempt to devise a new one, but just don't be surprised if the outcome is a flawed system and a loss of a great deal of money. |
